This policy covers homba.app. The short version: we collect very little, we use it only to run Homba and talk to you about it, and we never sell it.
What we collect today
- Your email address, if you sign up for early access. The signup form is processed by Web3Forms, a form service that delivers your submission to our inbox. We keep your email so we can contact you about Homba.
- Standard hosting logs. This site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request, to run and secure the service.
- Font requests. Our pages load the Space Grotesk font from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply.
We don't use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies on this site.
How we use it
We use your email address to tell you about Homba, such as when your early access opens, and to reply to messages you send us. We'll only email you about Homba.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it with advertisers, and we don't use it for ads.
Retailer links and affiliate cookies
Homba links to products on furniture retailers' websites. When you click one of those links, the retailer and the affiliate network that tracks the referral may set cookies or use similar technology to record your purchase, so that we can be credited with a commission. That happens on their sites and is governed by their privacy policies, not this one.
The Homba app
When the Homba app launches, it will handle the room photos you upload and the email address you use for your account. We'll update this policy to explain how we handle that data before the app launches.
Unsubscribing and deleting your data
To stop hearing from us, reply to any email from us or write to hombapp@gmail.com. To have your email address and any messages deleted from our records, email us with the request and we'll confirm when it's done.
Children
Homba isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us their email address, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
